Hybrid connectors for Japanese OEM platforms combine signal, power and sometimes high-speed data in one housing. What to send in a Japan RFQ
- Plating specification (including Japanese OEM standards if they apply) and thickness on functional vs non-functional areas.
- Annual volume, packaging, and whether the part ships to Japan or to an India/ASEAN plant of a Japanese OEM.
- PPAP level and whether first-article is required before SOP.
